Tethered Tube Tie – SCB53

Technical Information
The Tethered Tube Tie was designed to restrain and secure scaffold tubes and tubular brackets, arresting them in the event of a fall or drop. This device consists of a Class B drop forged half swivel connected to a C15 carbon steel eye nut by means of both a threaded bolt and welded joint.

This device should be secured on the user by means of appropriate lanyard tested to BS EN 358.

Technical Data
The eye nut has a SWL of 340kg with MBL at 1360kg.
The grade 10.9 bolt has a minimum breaking load of 7900kg.
The brackets are batch tested and MPI inspected for ultimate performance.
The weld strength has been tested to 40kN.
