Technical Information
The RSF is a multi use, removable and re-usable scaffold anchor. Made from a high grade PCP rubber expander and a mild steel connector it accepts any standard metric M16 thread. It can be used with the standard SCR M16 Forged Ringbolt or any M16 threaded Bolt, Stud or Eye.
This specially designed anchor has a smaller drill hole than other types of similar looking anchors meaning installation is quicker, but it still gives maximum performance in all base materials. The anchor is easy to install, load and subsequently remove. Spare rubber expanders are also available as they should be replaced if they become worn or damaged.
Load Data
The anchor can be used with reduced performance in brick, block, stone and other “unknown” base materials. However, preliminary tests should be performed as per the instructions given in TG4/11 in order to ascertain load capabilities.
As with all anchors used in scaffolding you should refer to both TG:20 “Guide to good practice for scaffolding with tubes and fittings” and TG4 “Anchorage Systems for Scaffolding” for help or advice.
NB – Recommended loads are limited by suitability of base material and structure.
